Carlos Ramires, co-founder of Genetech Animal Reproduction, holds a Veterinary Medicine degree and a Master's in Animal Reproduction from Unesp/Botucatu. With numerous articles in scientific journals and contributions to book chapters in equine reproduction, he brings a wealth of expertise to the field. Married since 2017 to Vanessa and father to two children, Luisa and Gustavo, Carlos oversees the company's laboratory processes and plays a pivotal role in field operations, including performing and supervising follicular aspirations and semen analysis.
Thiago Boechat, co-founder of GeneTech Animal Reproduction, is a graduate of Veterinary Medicine from Unoeste/Presidente Prudente, São Paulo. With extensive experience in Brazil, Thiago's journey into the U.S. equine industry began in 1993 when he spent his first year here gaining extensive experience in training reining horses. Upon returning to the U.S. in 1999, he completed his internship at the Veterinary Course in Navasota, TX, and served as a co-founder and manager for (then) Xtra Quarter Horses located in Purcell, Oklahoma–a prominent reining horse stallion station, equine reproduction and training facility.
Since 2001, Thiago has been married to Izabel Kristina, and they are proud parents to two children, Ty and Sofia. Throughout his career, Thiago has achieved many milestones of success, including two World Reining Champion titles–successfully competing in the sport of reining for more than 25 years. Presently, Thiago directs his focus on the management of GeneTech Animal Reproduction, bringing his wealth of expertise and experience in business management and equine reproduction to the forefront of the industry.
