Dana Case, CFO

Dana brings to Genetech a diversified set of experiences and qualifications which lends well with the day to day operations. She has worked extensively in the equine industry and has participated in showing in several different disciplines. She gained valuable experience working for the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine Large Animal Hospital as an Equine Medicine and ultrasound technician, as well as working for numerous top veterinarians in the industry and for one of the largest animal compounding pharmacies in the U.S. Dana served as an ambassador to China on behalf of Xtra Quarter Horses and works closely with clients from many different countries to assist in fulfilling Genetech’s international endeavors. She also has various business and accounting certifications that prove valuable in her everyday tasks at Genetech as the CFO. She is extremely dedicated to her position and goes above and beyond daily to assure the success of Genetech Animal Reproduction.

Michala Lindley, DVM Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Michala Lindley, a Wyoming native, is a dedicated equine veterinarian with a wealth of expertise and passion for equine medicine. She holds two bachelor's degrees in Veterinary Sciences and Agriculture Business from the University of Wyoming and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Washington State University in 2019. Throughout her educational journey, her unwavering affection for performance horses has been a driving force, compelling her to specialize in the care of equine athletes. Dr. Lindley's passion for performance horses led her to work at various equine referral hospitals in California, Utah, and Washington. During her time in Washington, she established a successful equine reproduction program. This endeavor allowed her to gain proficiency in advanced reproductive techniques, including transvaginal oocyte aspirations, a feat that led to her collaboration with Genetech. With a profound commitment to her profession and a love for the equine community, Dr. Michala Lindley is excited to become an integral part of Genetech and this community. She is poised to offer transvaginal oocyte aspirations, while contributing to the collective growth and knowledge of the ICSI field. Beyond her dedication to the world of equine medicine, Michala enjoys quality time spent with her family and friends, as well as riding and roping.

Sammie McCracken, Director of Marketing

A graduate of Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing and Advertising, Sammie spent nearly 10 years working in multiple corporate marketing roles prior to starting her own business in 2017 which focuses solely on marketing, advertising and content creation for the equine industry. Joining the team at Genetech was a natural fit for Sammie given her relationships, background and experience in other areas of equine reproduction, industry associations, and skill sets in photography, videography, graphic design, social media and advertising. When Sammie is not in the office, at an event or serving other clients in the industry, she enjoys skiing, playing golf and spending time with her family and friends.

Jana Miller, Administrative Assistant

Jana Miller, originally from Jacksonville, Texas, graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2016 with her bachelor’s degree in animal science with a minor in biology. Following graduation, she went on to receive her master’s degree in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) from Colorado State University. Since then, Jana has worked at multiple veterinary clinics and hospitals to grow her knowledge in equine reproduction and she continues to grow daily with Genetech. Her background and knowledge of embryology work continue to be beneficial for her roles in the office and assisting the veterinarians on staff at Genetech. She is a daily asset in helping explain the ICSI process to clients and answering questions that come up on the phone and in email. Her passion is to help clients learn about ICSI and how it can benefit their breeding program make her an invaluable part of the team.

Flávio Ribeiro, Director of Sales and Business Development

Dr. Flavio Ribeiro is originally from Brazil and move to the US to go to Graduate School. Dr. Ribeiro has a MS in Animal Science from Iowa State University and a Ph.D in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. He spent 10 years after finishing his Ph.D as a faculty member and scientist teaching and doing research. Dr. Ribeiro then took a job working for a private Feed Additive company where he spent 4 years and was the Director for the US business for the company. In May 2023 Dr. Ribeiro started his own consulting business and in the Summer of 2023 he joined the GeneTech team as the Director of Marketing. He is responsible for the international business of GeneTech and also working with expanding the Domestic business in the US. In his free time Flavio enjoys riding horses and showing in Tie Down roping at AQHA shows. He is also know for his Brazilian BBQ skills and teaches a class at Texas A&M University every Fall and does a few cookouts around the country.

Michelle Scott, Administrative Assistant

Michelle Scott joined Genetech in December 2022. She grew up in Oklahoma prior to living in Colorado for a short time. After graduating from SE Oklahoma State University she went to work for an investment group for a period of time before accepting an offer to join the equine industry working as an administrative assistant at a breeding farm. Now, with more than 20 years in the industry, she has grown her knowledge and experience in equine reproduction and client service, and continues to do so in her role at Genetech. When she’s not at the office or helping Genetech out at an event, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons.

Carolina Tiemi Cardoso Okada, Researcher

Carolina is a researcher of Genetech Animal Reproduction. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at State University of Londrina (UEL), in Brazil. Accomplished internship at the University of Minnesota, followed by a master’s degree in biotechnology of animal Reproduction at São Paulo State University (UNESP/Botucatu), a Ph.D. in Equine Reproduction at Vetmeduni Vienna/ Austria, and a Postdoctoral fellowship focused on embryology at the University of Pennsylvania (New Bolton Center). Furthermore, Carolina is an active member of the International Embryo Technology Society (IETS), where served on the board of governors of Morulas for 2 years. Due to her academic path focused on early gestation and embryo development, she presents an extensive list of scientific papers published with high impact in the field of equine reproduction. Carolina joined the research team of Genetech’s laboratory in 2024 and is currently aiming to improve the processes and increase in vitro fertility rates. She has been married to Andre Kwon since 2023.
