Dr. Irma Rosati DMV, PhD, MRCVS
Dr. Rosati is an equine reproduction specialist with over 20 years of international experience in both clinical practice and research. After earning her PhD in Physiology of Animal Reproduction from the University of Sassari, she built her career across leading equine reproduction centers in Italy, Germany, and the UK, including Paul Schockemöhle’s Lewitz Stud. Since 2018, she has been resident stud vet at Newton Stud in Devon, overseeing all aspects of mare and embryo reproductive care alongside general stud medicine. In March 2024, she became Director of EquiARTs at Newton Stud, furthering her commitment to advancing assisted reproduction technologies. A member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, Dr. Rosati combines extensive clinical expertise with a strong research background, having lectured and published widely on reproductive biotechnologies.
Nikola Cattermoul
Nikola's journey bridges the worlds of policy, education and sport. Her professional path began as a Policy Analyst and Research Associate in fisheries (UK and New Zealand) before shifting to primary education in international schools across Zimbabwe and Uganda. This global perspective is matched by her personal passions: a mother of three and a lifelong equestrian, she has proudly represented both Uganda and Zimbabwe in eventing and dressage. Nikola now applies her multifaceted skills in a new arena, supporting Genetech UK in the office and the lab. When not in the lab, office or in the saddle, she enjoys family time, walking her dogs and reading.
