Jamie Farmer, Office Manager
Jamie has over 20 years of experience in equine reproductive medicine, with advanced specialization in Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), embryo transfer, artificial insemination, and recipient mare management. She has a strong foundation in both laboratory precision and clinical coordination. Trained in advanced ICSI techniques in Cremona, Italy, Jamie has extensive experience performing micromanipulation procedures, embryo culture and grading, cryopreservation management, and reproductive data tracking. In addition to her technical expertise, Jamie brings over a decade of leadership experience managing equine fertility center operations. She specializes in client communication, regulatory compliance, team coordination, and streamlined clinic workflows. Jamie has been riding since she was eight years old, and her lifelong love for horses naturally led her to the equine reproduction industry. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of the reproductive process from start to finish. Outside of work, she enjoys trail riding, spending time with family, and being out on the water—always making the most of the outdoors.
Daniel Rosetti, Embryologist
Daniel is a Biomedical Embryologist originally from Brazil, and he began his journey in reproductive medicine more than a decade ago. Since joining GeneTech in 2022, he has found it incredibly rewarding to bring his extensive experience into the equine industry, applying his expertise to one of the most dynamic and respected fields in animal reproduction. Working as an embryologist in Ocala is a true honor for Daniel. He takes great pride in contributing to the city’s reputation as the “Horse Capital of the World,” and values the opportunity to work with such remarkable and powerful animals. Supporting the continued excellence of the equine community is both a professional privilege and a personal passion. Outside of the laboratory, Daniel is first and foremost a devoted husband and father. He prioritizes spending meaningful time with his family—whether enjoying days at the beach, exploring local parks, or simply relaxing together with video games. For Daniel, balancing a fulfilling career with a rich family life is one of life’s greatest rewards.
John Shrewsbury, DVM Staff Veterinarian
Dr. John Shrewsbury is originally from Bardstown, Kentucky, in the heart of the horse capital of the world. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Bellarmine University before pursuing his veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts & Nevis. He completed his clinical year at the University of Florida and graduated in September 2024. Dr. Shrewsbury’s passion for the equine industry is deeply rooted in both personal and professional experience. Growing up around the Thoroughbred racing industry, his family’s racing barn has owned multiple graded stakes winners, including two Kentucky Derby participants. Horses have had a profound impact on his life, and he is driven to give back to an industry that has shaped him. Prior to and throughout veterinary school, Dr. Shrewsbury gained diverse hands-on experience. He worked as a trail riding guide in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, served as a groomer and exercise rider at a steeplechase barn in Pennsylvania, and held licensure as an equine specialist in trauma-focused equine-assisted psychotherapy. He also spent two years in mixed animal practice at Central Kentucky Animal Clinic and completed an internship at Ocala Equine Hospital in Ocala, Florida. Outside of work, Dr. Shrewsbury enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and exploring with his dog, Pablo.
