As long as they remain in liquid nitrogen, embryos remain viable indefinitely.
Age is one of the many factors that affects the success rate of ICSI. The genetic component of older mares is more fragile than that of a younger mare, but success is still achievable at any age.
There is a minimal difference between the pregnancy rates of fresh vs frozen embryos. As long as the freezing and thawing processes are done correctly, the viability of the embryo remains the same.
On injected mature oocytes the rate of fertilized embryos is around 60-70%.
