Dr. Irma Rosati DMV, PhD, MRCVS
Dr. Rosati is an equine reproduction specialist with over 20 years of international experience in both clinical practice and research. After earning her PhD in Physiology of Animal Reproduction from the University of Sassari, she built her career across leading equine reproduction centers in Italy, Germany, and the UK, including Paul Schockemöhle’s Lewitz Stud. Since 2018, she has been resident stud vet at Newton Stud in Devon, overseeing all aspects of mare and embryo reproductive care alongside general stud medicine. In March 2024, she became Director of EquiARTs at Newton Stud, furthering her commitment to advancing assisted reproduction technologies. A member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, Dr. Rosati combines extensive clinical expertise with a strong research background, having lectured and published widely on reproductive biotechnologies.
Nikola Cattermoul
A primary educator with an extensive background in policy and research, she has taught at international schools in Zimbabwe and in Uganda. Prior to her career in education, she worked as a Policy Analyst and Research Associate in the fisheries sector in the UK and New Zealand. A mother of three older children, she has had a lifelong passion for horses and has represented both Uganda and Zimbabwe in eventing and dressage. When not in the classroom, she enjoys horse riding, hanging out with her family, walking her dogs and planting trees. Nikola now supports Genetech UK in the office and in the laboratory.
